Beautiful Cathedral City
Salisbury is a medieval city located in South Wiltshire near Salisbury Plain. It is the meeting point of five rivers: the Naddar, Ebble, Wywle, Bourne and Avon.
One of the main attractions is the magnificant Salisbury Cathedral boasting the tallest church spire in the UK. There are regular tours around the Cathedral
Salisbury has great shopping facilities set amoungst its historic streets and alleyways as well as a regular street market.
For those interested in the arts, there are plenty of arts and cultural venues with events through the year from drama and dance to lectures, arts and children's activities. Not to be missed is the yearly Salisbury International arts festival.
There is also a bustling night life with plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants and a couple of night clubs.
Salisbury is a great base for visiting the world famous Stonehenge which is only a 20 minute drive away
It is a truly wonderful place to come and spend a few days!
